SmilingSenior.com is a website I created to help people find products and resources to aid senior loved ones. I myself have been impacted by many elders in my family needing support and services when they were in need. I have run into dealings with family members that made making decisions difficult and impaired my ability to help out my elder loved ones. I wanted to create this website to help people understand that there are things you can do to help your senior loved one whether it is your father, mother, uncle, aunt… whoever. Retirement residences have long waiting lists and the quality of the home can determine how well they are cared for. I’m a big champion of helping senior’s live in their own homes for as long as possible because I believe that is what I would want when I am older and I imagine many seniors want too. Putting your senior loved ones into a retirement residence is not always the right answer but in many cases it definitely is.
